Policies Though not a news organization, we share many of the values of the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics. In particular, we share the call to "seek truth and report it." Insofar as this site is a news and information resource, we abide by the SPJ code (also available as a downloadable .pdf here) Disclosure/Transparency Policy TrueDialog is committed to developing, embracing and demonstrating the best practices for not-for-profit organizations. TrueDialog.org is not a political organization, but our work does address communication issues that are integral to the political process. Since transparency in political funding is a core value for us, TrueDialog.org will make available, on request, a list of the name and state of any contributor who has given over $100. Those giving under $100 may request that they be included in this list. Any potential donor requesting anonymity for contributions exceeding $100 will be respectfully refused. *** |
